Born and raised in Benton Harbor, this Southwest Michigan native is launching her very first album after years of being a performing artist. With inspiration from her roots in gospel and classical training from her studies in music, Josie G artfully draws on her understanding and passion for music to Serenade her audience with introspective lyrics, and a static-charged, “get cozied up with a hot cup of cocoa” voice.
